桐乡市现有杭白菊种植面积4.5万亩左右，全市年产干花5000余吨，占全国白菊总产量的90%。其中无公害杭白菊的生产基地规模为2386公顷，总产量为4500余吨。桐乡市被国家农业部命名为“中国杭白菊之乡”， 国家质检总局对桐乡市杭白菊实施原产地域产品保护。
桐乡杭白菊香浓而幽雅，味甘而醇郁，它既是一种清凉解渴的好饮料，又具有一定的药用价值。杭白菊对抗心血管病研究有多重作用。新加坡国立大学医学院桐乡籍博士沈汉明的《菊花茶具有抗癌功能》的研究报告，引起了世界的轰动。新加坡国立大学研究组确定，被用作中国传统中药的菊花有助于消除癌细胞。杭白菊的深加工是高新技术的生产项目，市场开发前景广阔，发展潜力大，市场竞争力强，市场效益好。

Background

Tongxiang Juling chrysanthemum food co, Ltd is one of corporations that specialize in Hangzhou White Chrysanthemum in Tongxiang City. It is supported by Shanghai Medicine University and Shanghai Tumour Research Institute and has the ability in developing series productions of Hangzhou White Chrysanthemum. The Chinese party can provide land, staff, technology and so on.

Project Scale and Content

Currently, there are 45,000 Chinese acres for Chrysanthemum plant in Tongxiang and, the city’s annual output of dried flowers is 5,000 tons, which accounts for 90% of the country’s total output. There are 2,386 hectares of harmless Chrysanthemum production base, annual output of which totals 4,500 tons. Tongxiang City was named “hometown of Chinese chrysanthemum” by the state Department of Agriculture and the Chrysanthemum of Tongxiang is under the geographical origin product protection of State Administration of Quality Supervision. Tongxiang Hangzhou Chrysanthemum smells elegant and tastes sweet. It’s good for appeasing thirst and also has some medicinal value. Hangzhou Chrysanthemum plays a multiple role in dealing with cardiovascular disease. The Tongxiang-ese Dr. Shen Hanming from medical college, National University of Singapore has written a research report named “Hangzhou Chrysanthemum Tea Has Anti-cancer Function”, which caused a sensation in the world. The study group of National University of Singapore identified that the Chrysanthemum, which is traditional Chinese medicine, contributes to the elimination of cancer cells. The deep processing of Hangzhou White Chrysanthemum is a production item with high and new technology. Its prospect of market development is extensive, its potential is great and its marketing competitive is strong.
